Fashion Group International – Denver
Region honored its 2007 Rising Star, Gino Velardi at
a Fashion Show/Gala, held October 6, at the Lakewood
Country Club. Also honored were four category
winners and three “Future Stars.” A silent auction
and buffet service preceded the runway presentation
of the honored designer's collections.
Future Star, SuSuedio Designs,
designer Susan Ware presented her latest
collection of chunky chains and Hill Tribe pendants,
highlighted with an edgy double chain & rose boot
cuff, and Tibetan and Etched Shell Pendants
complemented with earrings and bracelets. Her
signature lariats were worn low on the hips as a
belt, another as a double choker with beads and
crystals cascading down the back of a low cut
couture gown.
All proceeds from the event will
support Fashion Group International – Denver Region
Career Day, to be held next spring.
